Start Again

 Senior Late Night has screwed me over for the past week and last night wasn't too different. I got very little sleep before having to get up again, shower, and start the over-2-hour drive towards Decatur for freshman orientation. I couldn't sleep in the car (and boy did I feel that afternoon slump) but at least I had some delicious coffee!

And waking up at the asscrack of dawn was so, so worth it.

Hello, new beginnings! It's nice to see that you're not too far off. I've got to go some ways and prepare before we can meet up. There are plays to read, monologues to find, scores to listen to, moneys to make (HAH)...

This summer...

Well. The start of this summer has been a rough ride. I performed at my last high school choir concert. I won some awards. I partied. I had some fights. I'm not in the most ideal situation at the moment and to be honest, I'm currently not very happy. But y'know, things can change. And they will.

I've been looking for a sunlit summer and this time, this time I'm going to get it. Better watch out because this girl's on a hunt and she won't stop until she has the time of her life. I promised myself that I'm going to do more this summer because why not? I've gotten a good head start.

THIS SUMMER:

1 high school graduation

2 pictures drawn

3 movies watched

2 graduation parties attended

1 birthday dinner

And the list is gonna keep growing as long as I make it that way. Maybe things suck right now, but I'm two weeks in with 10 more to go.

I've been looking for a sunlit summer and this time, this time I'm going to get it. Better watch out because this girl's on a hunt and she won't stop until she has the time of her life.
